Tim Holtz Distress® Mini Archival Reinkers are waterproof, acid-free dye ink that feature the classic Distress colour palette in the same fade-resistant formula as Ranger Archival Ink. When used with water-based inks, markers, acrylic paint, and watercolours, Archival inks are permanent on many surfaces, providing long-lasting detailed stamping results that will not bleed. With the coordinating Tim Holtz Distress® Archival Ink Re-inker, ink pads can be easily re-inked. 

Creative crafters and mixed media artists have discovered many other ways to use re-inkers in addition to refreshing their ink pads.  Some other uses for these small bottles of ink include pouring a few drops into a palette to paint, watercolour, or splatter with.  Mix a few drops of re-inker ink into other mediums such as texture paste, clay or resin to colourize and/or to marbleize.

One of our favourite ways to use the re-inkers is to create a custom ink pad using the Ranger DIY Ink Pads. Creating a unique pad has endless options - it can be a custom blend, an ombre pad, a rainbow pad, or more.  Simply choose your colours and your pattern, apply a few drops and spread with a craft scraper or squeegee.
