It’s always a good time for tea, we say! Jo’s picked up the challenge we sent to her, to create a Tea Time card. And not only did she create one, she created 3! In 3 different ways! Check out what her cup (or cups, should we say) of tea is like! Jo made these cards with the same layout but different textures and layers using the Chevron cover die, watercolour inks and texture paste. All subtle differences that slightly alter the look of each cards.
For each card she had used the Avery Elle Watercolour inks which she used as a watercolor wash for each background. Jo also heat embossed the cups of tea and saucers with Lawn Fawn white heat embossing powder which she then coloured them in with Clean & Clear Zig watercolour markers.
Here is the first card where Jo used the Chevron Die as a stencil then add Ranger Texture Paste in Opaque Matte.
For the next card she had ink blended with Distress Oxide inks over the Chevron die as a stencil.
For the last card, Jo had simply added the Chevron die over the top over the colour wash background.
Each card is a top folding white card base. The layers added have either been foam mounted on coloured cardstock or adhered down with liquid adhesive.
