Hay there, hay there! Eloise is back today with card using the Hay There stamp set from Lawn Fawn to create a birthday card. She’ll also be using the Tim Holtz Dotted Stencil as well as some Ranger Crackle Paste for her background.

To begin her card today, Eloise started off with her background, since she knew that it would take a while to dry. First, she took a piece of watercolour cardstock and taped it down to her non-stick sheet. She then added her dotted stencil over top. Next, she added some of her Texture Paste onto her non-stick mat and then added some of her Distress Oxide Ink to the side as well. Eloise used a palette knife and mixed it together. She used Peacock Feathers first and added that over the top of her stencil, then repeated the same thing for Twisted Citron, but added that at the bottom of her stencil. Eloise then set it aside to dry and crackle. Then, she moved onto stamping. Eloise stamped out her images from Hay There and also the balloon from Party Animal. She coloured them using Copic Markers and then cut them out using the coordinating dies.

At this point, her paste was pretty much dry, so she finished it off with a heat tool and laid out her images over the top. SHe used some flat and foam adhesive to adhere them down to the centre. For her sentiment, she whiteheat embossed ‘Happy Birthday’ onto a thin black strip of cardstock and popped it up on the left hand side of her card. Lastly, Eloise added some green striped paper from Really Rainbow onto her card base and adhered her panel directly over the top with more fun foam.

Check out how she does it in her video tutorial below!
